Going Undercover

Today I found out that the FNKY! is having a 50% off sale, so evidently I immediately went there and got these glasses. They reminded me of a typical celebrity pretending to go undercover and trying to walk down the streets undetected. We all know that the glasses probably get more attention and that this strategy almost never works, but I fell in love with them and since I'm not a celebrity well... I don't need to worry LOL.

We all know that the accessory of this season are scarfs, that's why I was thrilled to find in ETD the Davina hair which has a scarf attached to it and it color changes. I saw this as an investment more than as an expense considering that you can change the color of the scarf to match every outfit you want.

Since I won't deprive myself of the pleasure of wearing a mini skirt even when it's cold, I wore some leg warmers and Violá problem solved! The jacket from A.Y.Y caught my attention from the moment I walked into the store, I adore the pattern and it was the inspiration behind this outfit.

Ju Ju's Closet

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Juwan Lane (the owner of Ju Ju's Closet) while James was taking our pics for the Headshot Series. The next thing I knew she was giving us some items from her store (WooT!!), she pleased me and gave everything in my favorite color: Red. She actually gave me my first pair of chucks in sl (I know shocking) and since that day I don't take them off. I lovers them! She also gave me a red dress and the best part is that it has bows!! (fyi I have a thing for bows if you haven't noticed by now, just look at my older posts).

Ju Ju's Closet allows you to dress in a casual manner (picture 1) but it also let's you feel girly and classy wearing that cute short dress. So don't forget to check it out, Ju Ju's Closet is definitively worth a visit ;)

Golden Diva!

Black has to be recognized as the most elegant color, it's appropriate for almost every occasion and has been an endless source of inspiration for fashionistas everywhere. Even though many people say "you can never go wrong with black" I have proven that to be wrong. I have witnessed how some turn black into a dull color, instead of being the representation of glamour that we all know and love.

A way in which I avoid the dullness is by using a color contrast, and this time I gave shine to my outfit with Gold. Accessories are of the utmost importance when it comes to making an outfit an utter success, so I decided that all my accessories would be gold and black. From the necklace to the exquisite ankle boots (for which I have to thank Emmleigh again, she knows I have thing for bows) black and gold are always present, giving light to the outfit.

Friday Look!

I was looking for something special for Friday, an outfit that said "I'm ready to party!" but also stated that I was going to do it with style. I think the teal tights with that glittery texture evokes the Friday night clubbing scene while the scarf and necklace give a composed and elegant touch to the outfit. For the heels I have to thank Emleigh who took me to Kookie today and I found the perfect shoes to complete the look, they are gray and they have a bow! (god listened to my prayers) Need I say more?

Black, White and Red

Hello everyone! It's the start of a new week, yeah it's Monday *sighs* meaning for most people that it's time to get back to work, that's why it's usually known as a very depressing day. For that very reason I thought of starting this week with the right foot and the attitude to match. Instead of going into a caffeine overdose (as I usually do on Mondays) I decided that my outfit could help me get the energy I need to get through the day. Black, White and Red are my favorite colors they go great together and provide an incredibly stylish contrast which I find refreshing and vibrant. This incredible jacket from MECHANISM will help me keep my mood up and will guarantee a great start for this week.

In a man's Jacket

So yesterday I found a jacket for only 30L (I know amazing! specially considering the quality of the texture) and it looked so good, the only problem was that it was made for men. So I wondered if it was possible to make it work for me, I had tried it once when I got a free jacket on the lucky chair of the Aoharu's men section with no success... LOL... I just couldn't let that L go to waste. So finally after about an hour of intense editing this is how the jacket came to look on me. I gave it a feminine touch with a pink scarf and pink shoes to match, I've always thought that gray and pink look great together. As a finishing touch I added the Maitreya Old Leather Belt into the mix.

Shoe Craze!

What can I say? I just love shoes! and I was lucky enough to find some really unique high heels, and well they're just adorable. What I like the most about them is how they remind me of Sex and the City, and I can feel like Carrie Bradshaw looking fashionable through the streets Manhattan. I searched left and right for an outfit to match these adorable pumps, ended up going for a Cashmere skirt and the Savvy? Bustier in teal. The finishing touch and the one that allowed the outfit to actually blend in together was the belt by M*A*ii*K*I.

Since these pumps left me in a flowery mood I wore a necklace that goes accordingly: the Chicoco floral necklace.

Hey everyone! I come with this new look, and since I'm kinda in a hurry I'm going to make this a short post.
It had been a while since I visited E.M.A (after all I already owned the whole store), and it sure was a pleasant surprise to find some new releases, one of them being this jacket . This store has been my secret (until now), because you can find unique pieces at an incredibly low price. I figured this jacket would be look perfect with my Maitreya Dune Boots and my favorite updo hair in this moment (Kyoot's Army Hot Mess).
