Snow White

I've always liked Snow White more than any other fairy tale, and it might be the reason why I avoid tanning in rl. Anyway this post isn't about the Disney princess (sorry to mislead all of you with the title) but it's about this winter look. I decided to wear all white and the inspiration were these ear muffs, the result of a delightful collaboration between GBL and BOOM. The coat and the boots were no brainers, I just went to the place whit the widest and most charming collection for this season: Aoharu.

Detective Arado: The Case of the Flared Tweeds

So today I went into a severe fashion crisis, I had no idea of what to wear and how to match this gorgeous tweed flared pants I got from Aranel Ah (thanks again! btw). I figured a tunic long sweater and a belt would be ideal since the pants already have volume I didn't want to add more to the outfit in order to get a nice silhouette.

After I finished my outfit and I was finally pleased with it I realized I looked like the updated female version of Sherlock Holmes! since tweed and hats seemed to be a constant in his wardrobe. It's probably the fact that I almost never wear hats which made me feel like a detective LOL.

Texture Rich

I was looking for inspiration for a new outfit, and while looking at the UK Vogue, inspiration hit me in the form of tweed, argyle and knit. I'm usually rather conservative when it comes to mixing patters and texture, but this time I went for it and took a risk. The result was this girly and cozy look and since the idea came from the UK, it was only fair to pay some kind of tribute. That's why I went to the Knigtsbridge sim and used it as a background, after all not everyday I decide to put leather, argyle, knit and tweed all into the same outfit.

Yes... Houndstooth Again!

This week the new main store of Bijou was opened and of course, with new releases. It has been one of the biggest news and it has been all over the fashion blogs, so evidently I had to go and take a look. I've been a great fan of Bijou for a long time, and I was on the verge of tears when SL ate 1k items of my inventory and with those I lost all my Bijou stuff. So I figured it was time to move on and start the recovery and well... nothing better to cheer you up after such a traumatic incident than getting your inventory full of new releases.

So the first thing that caught my attention was this coat and even though not long ago I did a post with a houndstooth pattern jacket I just couldn't help it. I matched the coat with a beige tank top and boots (from ETD still on sale WooT!), the espresso city slacks from Novocaine and as a finishing touch I added a choker from Malt Fashions.

New Releases from Laqroki!!

I've always been a great fan of Laqroki, my usual skin is from there and I have to say that I haven't found any other skins that fit me so well as Laqroki does. Mallory Cowen was kind enough to send me a folder of the new and exciting releases to do a review, and well I can't say anything bad about it all I can do is wear them and admire the excellent detailing and shading.

I don't know how but they managed to do it once again! Everything from the lips, the eyebrows to the gorgeous makeup reminds of just one word: Perfection.

Mimikri Glamour

As soon as I found out Mimikri had a new dress out I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, and now you can see why. It's called Ma Chere and it comes in a long and short version, the skirt texture simply evokes glamour and elegance. Since I chose the blueberry dress I decided to accesorize it with a silver belt and bracelet. As a final touch, I decided to wear the new hair from UncleWeb, because I figured that it was only appropriate to wear one new release with another.
