SL Style Hunter Turns 5!

Back in 2008 when I started this blog: Armidi was the shit, flexi was all the rage and every single shoe had an invisible prim. When my avatar was only 6 months old was when I decided to start this blog, I never thought I'd still be here posting 5 years later. With the first skin I bought ever in SL and merely the poses of my AO, a very clueless Lauryn Arado began to blog fashion, without having any knowledge about how to take a decent picture and the word photoshop was completely unknown. 

This is why for the 5th anniversary of this blog I decided to take a look back to all my clueless and photography fail moments; To laugh, to see how much SL has evolved, to appreciate how much I feel I have improved and just in general to ask myself: What the hell was I thinking when I thought that looked good or awesome?! hahaha

For the picture above I chose 5 pictures and looks I did for the blog back in 2008-2009 that made me just go "oh god what the hell was I thinking?". There's plenty more of those moments though hahaha, if you wanna have a good laugh feel free to scroll back!

A Touch Of Surrealism

Hey all! I'm back from some short rl vacations. A lot of things happened while I was absent from sl and I'm trying to catch up, lots of events and lots of amazing new releases. As I mentioned on my previous post now I'm ready to get more into fall fashion and I will leave summer behind. This time I tried to go with a basic and clean look where the color black is predominant and with gold accessories. Gold and Black are always a stunning combination. With the help of these stunning boots and coat it was easy for me to get the outfit together.

The Sign of the Self

Hey all! I'm back after some amazing vacations time and I'm finally ready to start blogging again.

The name of this blog post may seem a little strange but it's basically refering to one of the descriptions I found of my astrological sign: Aries. It is said that Aries it's the sign of the self. It also happens that there's an in world event called Zodiac and all the items being sold in it right now are inspired by (the best and most awesome sign in the world...fine! I know I'm a little biased) Aries.

Anyway, this look was inspired by several new releases and one of them comes from the Zodiac event. Oh also be sure to check out the new PXL skin available at Collabot 88, it's gorgeous!
